Learning Assistant (LEA) is a student-facing* dialogic agent on SLS, which serves to guide students’ learning via iterative questioning.

*Available only for Pri 4 and above

How does LEA enhance teaching and learning?

1. Settings to safeguard students’ learning and well-being

   • Teachers can set interaction limits on LEA to reduce over-reliance by students, and access students’ conversation logs for real-time insights.

2. Personalised and Immediate Learning Support for Students

   • LEA provides students with timely and contextual responses based on curated learning materials in the knowledge base, reinforcing understanding and enabling self-directed learning.

3. Enhanced Engagement with Role-based Interactions

   • LEA can take on different roles with pre-populated recipes, making conversations more immersive and engaging, hence enhancing student engagement.
