Partnership with SLS
Find out how SLS partners with external providers to bring in content, tools, and apps that support teaching and learning.
Partnership with SLS
SLS is built as an open system that can supplement its core resources and features with external content and tools.
SLS currently
works with various external content providers/developers to build/procure SLS content,
whitelists websites which can be iframed within SLS (e.g. Padlet, Kahoot),
integrates with apps through its Application Development Framework (e.g. MySkillsFuture), and
incorporates external engines to enhance SLS capabilities (e.g. Text-to-Speech and Speech Evaluation engines).
SLS Partnership Guidelines
Whitelisted or integrated content/tools must not:
Solicit further business in-app, especially from students, or
Promote undesirable content or teaching and learning behavior such as test/exam drill and practice, game monetisation.
Generally, they should also not duplicate current or upcoming SLS core resources/features (but they can offer enhanced or customised content/tools).
Developers of EdTech products with AI-enabled features interested in whitelisting or integrating with SLS can refer to these guidelines (opens in new tab).
Companies or agencies that are interested to partner with the SLS Office can approach:
The relevant MOE divisions (opens in new tab) to indicate their interest.
The Curriculum Planning and Development Division to indicate interest in resource creation and weaving resources and content into digital textbooks (opens in new tab).
