Learn how to insert and edit hyperlinks in the Rich Text Editor, including setting display text, titles, and link targets.

(A3,7) Insert & Edit Links

  1. In the Rich Text Editor, choose the Hyperlink icon . Alternatively, highlight the text and select the Hyperlink icon.

  2. Key in the URL for the website that you would like the text to link to.

  3. You may also edit the Text to display or the Title.

    1. Text to display will be the text shown for users to click on.

    2. Title will be the text shown when the user hovers on the link.

  4. The default target is Current window which means that the linked website will open in the current tab. You may also select New window which will open the linked website in a new browser tab.

  5. Click Save when done.

  6. The linked text will be displayed in blue.
