About Notifications

1. You will receive Notifications when:

   • Assignments are due in a day

   • Assignment due date is changed

   • System, School and Class Group Announcements are updated

   • Quizzes in Assignments have been returned to you by your teacher

   • Assignments have been resumed (if enabled by your teacher)

   • New Assignments have been added to a Class Group (if enabled by your teacher)

   • Comments/Feedback/Results to Assignments have been given (if enabled by your teacher)

   • Comments have been given in Interactive Thinking Tools (ITT), Discussion Boards, Class Group forums or Monitor Assignment page (if enabled by your teacher)

   • New Forum Discussion Topics and Polls (if enabled by your teacher)

2. You can filter your Notifications using the Viewing and Type dropdown list. You can further sort your Notifications by All, Unread and Flagged.

3. You will be able to Flag/Unflag a Notification, to indicate if they are important, and select Notifications to Mark As Read.

4. Unread Notifications are indicated with a yellow circle on the Notification cards and on the Bell icon found on the header of the homepage.

5. Should you wish to receive SLS Notifications through your email, you will have to enable email notifications.

6. Note:

   • All notifications will expire after 90 days.

   • You can click on links in email notifications for direct access to the relevant page.
