Learn how to add, award, and view digital badges on MOE Library modules as a Content Approver or Content Officer.
(A4) Add Digital Badges to a Module
Digital badges are special badges awarded to students’ and teachers’ profiles for completing self-study modules from MOE Library.
Content Approvers and Content Officers (CAs and COs) are able to add digital badges to MOE Library resources.
Add Digital Badge to an MOE Library Resource
Open the left menu and select Administration, followed by Manage Module.
Open the resource for a digital badge to be added. Unpublish the Resource by clicking the Unpublish icon.
Click the Pencil icon and select Manage Gamification Settings.
Turn on Gamification. Go to Collectibles tab and click add Collectible.
Under Collectible Type, select Digital Badge and upload an image of the digital badge. Key in the Title and Description of the digital badge. Select the Collectible settings and add Game Branches if applicable. Click Create to proceed.
Award Digital Badges Manually
Open the left menu and select Administration, followed by Manage Digital Badges. All digital badges can be found here.
Select the digital badge, click the Overflow (3-dot icon) and select Award. Check the names of teachers and students and click Award to proceed with assigning the digital badge to the selected recipients.
View Digital Badges (for teachers and students)
Click on the avatar to view your profile.
On your Profile page, you will be able to view all your digital badges.
Note: CAs and COs will not be able to view the list of teachers or students who have earned the digital badges.
