From a Free-Response or Audio-Response Question, click Add Rubrics.
A maximum of 6 bands (columns) and 6 criteria (rows) can be added in a Rubrics. Click the Overflow (3-dot icon) to Add Band, Add Criterion, Delete Band, or Delete Criterion.
Enter the following fields:
- Title
- Band Descriptor
- Criterion
- Mark Range

Note: Please see below on how to use the marks of the rubrics for the question.

Note: You may enter descriptions in the form of text, mathematical formulae, chemical formulae, and media.

Use Marks of the Rubrics (Not available for Questions in Progressive Quiz and Auto-Graded Quiz)

The rubrics can be used as a reference, but not be bound to the mark ranges for the question. To do so, ensure that the box beside Show and use rubrics marks is unchecked.
Alternatively, the marks of the rubrics can be used for the question. To do so, check the box for Show and use rubrics marks. The total marks will be calculated based on the marks allocated by the teacher for each criterion in the rubrics. This will also impact students' quiz scores in a Teacher-Marked Quiz.
