Join a Google Meet video conference via your Assignments or Class Groups for online lessons and discussions.

(C1) Join a Google Meet Video Conference

Students can join a Google Meet video conference within their Assignments and Class Groups for synchronous lessons, discussions, or consultations.

Joining from Class Groups

  1. Open the left menu and click Class Groups to display a list of Class Groups you are in.

  2. Click on the relevant Class Group.

  3. Click on Google Meet to join a Google Meet video conference.

Joining from Assignments

  1. Open the left menu and click Assignments.

  2. Click on the relevant Assignment.

  3. If the Assignment contains a Google Meet Link, a Google Meet icon will be available.

  4. Click on the Google Meet video conference icon to access the Google Meet Link.

Note: If students do not link their iCON/Google account to SLS, they will only be able to join the meeting as a guest.
