(B1) Create Team Activities
Set up team activities for students to work together.
Create Team Activities
Teachers can create Team Activities for students to attempt in assignments or in specific activities collaboratively. The Team Activity can be turned on from the Assignment Settings subpage. Team Activities are indicated with the Team icon
From the Module Editor page, create a new activity or quiz, or add an existing activity or quiz.
Once you are ready to assign your Module, click the Assign icon .
Select a class group followed by Assign.
On the Assignment Title subpage, you may wish to edit the assignment title, pause the assignment or edit the permission settings. Click Next to proceed.
Note: Any edits to the settings made on the Assignment Title subpage will not affect your original Module in your My Drive.
On the Assignment Summary page, click the Pencil icon found on the top right of the class group card to open the Assignment Settings subpage.
From the Assignment Settings subpage, click the Activity Assignment tab.
Click Show Activities () to view the list of activities within a section.
Note: The number of activities within a section is indicated as a number in parenthesis.
For the activity you wish to set as a Team Activity, click the dropdown arrow and toggle Set as Team Activity on.
If you are changing an activity in an assignment to a Team Activity, note that students who previously had access to the activity will no longer have access. You will need to add students to a team to enable access to the activity.
Click OK to proceed.
You can create teams by clicking Add Team.
Note: If you would like students to collaborate on a Google Doc, you may create a Free-Response Question that is pre-populated with Google Response and set it as a Team Activity. For more information, you may refer to (C1, iv) Attach Google Files.
