Learn how to add and view Access Codes for Modules to control student access to assignments.
(E1,iii) Add and View Access Codes
You can add a Access Code (formerly known as Passcode) to Modules to restrict students’ access to these resources. Students are required to enter the Access Code (case-sensitive) when they click the Assignment card.
Add a Access Code
Click the Pencil icon to enter the Module Editor page.
Open the right menu and select Manage Access Code Settings.
In the Access Code Settings subpage, select the checkbox beside Enable Access Code for this Module and enter the Access Code in the text box field.
Note:
Access Code is case-sensitive.
Access Code will remain visible to you.
Click Save to confirm and X to close the subpage.
View a Access Code
You can view a Access Code from Module View (of a Module or while editing an Assignment).
From the Module View, open the right menu and select View Access Code Settings.
From an Assignment, open the right menu and select View Access Code Settings.
The Access Code Settings subpage will appear, revealing the Access Code.
Click X to close the subpage.
