(B1,iii) Edit Assignments
Edit an Assignment in Progress
Important: From Mar 2025 Update, edits made to a linked assignment will be applied to all other linked assignments in class groups.
You can edit an assignment after it is assigned.
Note: You may not edit a question or a quiz if students have started attempting them. You may, however, choose to delete the entire question or quiz.
Click the Assignment card to enter the Assignment and click the Overflow (3-dots icon) to open the right menu and select Edit.
The Assignment would be temporarily paused and it would not be accessible to students until the teacher resumes the assignment. Click OK to confirm your action.
You can proceed to edit the Activities.
When you have completed the edits, click the Update and Reassign icon at the top right of the page.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. You can choose to Resume all linked assignment(s), Mark assignment as Incomplete for all students and/or Notify students that the assignment has been edited with a custom message. Select the respective checkboxes and click OK to proceed. This is a generalised notification even if no edits have been made.
Note: Once a module is assigned, it becomes a linked assignment as the module is linked to the assignment. Resuming all linked assignments will resume the assignment you are editing and any other linked assignments, if applicable.
