Follow these steps to install, launch, or remove apps in your SLS Class Group.

(C1,i) Install and Launch Apps

Steps to Install Apps in SLS

  1. Open the left menu and click Class Groups. Alternatively, from the homepage, click Class Groups under the Class Group tab. Select the Class Group you wish to install the App in.

  2. Click the Apps tab to view the list of available apps.

  3. Click the View Details icon to find out more about a particular App.

  4. To install an App, click the App card, followed by OK.

  5. Click the App card to launch the App.

Steps to Uninstall Apps in SLS

  1. Open the left menu and click Class Groups. Select the Class Group you wish to uninstall the App for.

  2. Click the Apps tab to view the list of available apps.

  3. Under Installed Apps, click the Uninstall icon on the App card.

  4. Click OK to confirm your action.

FAQs

  1. What will happen if I do not install an App?

    • Students will not be able to see the App in their Class Group and they will not have access to it.

  2. What happens to Assignments if I uninstall the App?

    • The Assignments will still be available (depending on App Support). The Assignments will also remain available if you re-install the App.

  3. Who do I contact if I encounter any issues?

    • If you encounter any issues when trying to embed an integrated App, please email us at helpdesk@sls.ufinity.com (opens in new tab).

    • For issues involving a specific App, please reach out the App's helpdesk directly though the contact number or email information found within the App's Details card.
