The Feedback Assistant - Mathematics (FA-Math) is an engine that offers step-by-step feedback to students on their answers.
- Your teacher may add the tool as a Prepopulated Student Answer space in a Free-Response Question. You will then be informed on the feedback provided for the question.
- If enabled, you will be able to access hints when attempting the question.
- You may choose to type or write your response. Click Handwriting if you prefer to handwrite your working on your touch device. Click Keyboard to switch to typing using the formula editor.
- Click Check to review your work and receive immediate and specific feedback.
- Once the work has been completed, you may submit your response to the question, by clicking Submit.

You will be able to present your solutions as models instead of algebraic equations, if your teacher has enabled the Bar Model method. Click on a model to select it.

Label your model and type your calculations in the space provided.

Click Check to review your work and receive immediate and specific feedback.
