(A3) Add Conditions to Game Story or Collectibles
Conditions help determine when your Game Stories and Collectibles appear during the module. Game Stories and Collectibles will appear after the conditions have been fulfilled. Game Stories and Collectibles with no Conditions will not appear but can be awarded to students manually. To find out how to award Game Stories and Collectibles manually, click Add Conditions.
Types of Game Story and Collectible Conditions
Conditions that can be added are included in the table below:

*These conditions cannot be used alongside other conditions.
Adding Conditions to Game Stories or Collectibles

On the Gamification subpage, select between Game Stories or Collectibles tab.

You will need to have an existing Game Story and/or Collectible before you can add Conditions to them.

On the Game Story or Collectible card, click Add Conditions.

On the pop-up, click Add New Conditions and select

Module Start

Module Progress - Select a Section, an Activity/Quiz (optional), and specify the type of condition to be fulfilled.
- Types of condition: Start, Completion, Quiz Score (if a Quiz has been selected)

Game Story - Select a Game Story that you have created.

Collectible (only for Collectible Conditions) - Select a Game Story that you have created.

Game Branch - Select a Game Story or Collectible with Game Branches, and a Game Branch.

Level - Enter the minimum level required.

Quiz Rank - Select a Section and Quiz. Enter the range of Quiz Rank position.
Note: Quiz Leaderboard will be made visible for Quizzes with Quiz Rank positions.

When there are two or more conditions, the relationship of the conditions can be specified by and/or logical operators. From the dropdown menu, choose the appropriate operator.
- And - If two conditions are joined together by the And operator, both conditions need to be fulfilled before the Game Story and Collectible can be awarded.
- Or - If two conditions are joined together by the Or operator, either condition needs to be fulfilled before the Game Story and Collectible can be awarded.

Click OK to save the Condition(s).
Note: The number of Conditions specified for each Game Story and Collectible is indicated in parenthesis, next to “Conditions”.
Edit Conditions
- In the Gamification subpage, select between Game Stories and Collectibles tab.
- Click the Pencil icon beside Conditions ().
- After making your changes, click OK to confirm your changes.
Delete Conditions
- In the Gamification subpage, select between Game Stories and Collectibles tab.
- Click the Pencil icon beside Conditions ().
- Click the Delete icon to next to Condition you wish to delete.
- After making your changes, click OK to confirm your changes.
