(A3) Add Conditions to Game Story or Collectibles (New)
Conditions help determine when your Game Stories and Collectibles appear during the lesson. Game Stories and Collectibles will appear after the conditions have been fulfilled. Game Stories and Collectibles with no Conditions will not appear but can be awarded to students manually. To find out how to award Game Stories and Collectibles manually, click Add Conditions.
Types of Game Story and Collectible Conditions
Conditions that can be added are included in the table below:
Game Story/Collectible will appear
when students enter the Lesson (any Section/Activity in the Lesson)
Lesson Progress (Start) a. Section b. Section + Activity
a. after students enter the Section or any Activity in the Section b. after students enter the Activity
Lesson Progress (Completion) a. Section b. Section + Activity
a. after students complete the Section b. after students complete the Activity
Lesson Progress (Quiz Score) a. Section + Auto-Graded Quiz or Progressive Quiz b. Section + Teacher-Marked Quiz
a. after students complete the Quiz and meet the specified marks b. after teachers release the Quiz to students and students meet the specified marks
after Game Story is awarded
after another Collectible is awarded (applies to Collectibles only)
after students make chooses a Game Branch from an earlier awarded Game Story or Collectible
after students reach the required level
after teachers confirm the quiz ranking and students receives the specific quiz rank.
*These conditions cannot be used alongside other conditions.
Adding Conditions to Game Stories or Collectibles
On the Gamification subpage, select between Game Stories or Collectibles tab.
